Brandon Child – Principal, Costella Kirsch

Brandon is a Principal at Costella Kirsch (CK). CK has been a venture lender in Silicon Valley since 1986, and specializes in $500,000-$5,000,000 check sizes to revenue stage, growing companies. CK works with both bootstrapped and VC-backed startups.

Prior to CK, Brandon worked as an Account Executive at two venture-backed cloud software companies: Adaptive Insights (acquired by Workday in 2018) and Hightail (acquired by Opentext in 2018). Earlier in his career, Brandon spent five years at Apple, working on financial services products and global expansion amid the roll out and growth of the iPhone, the App Store, and the iPad.

Brandon is an entrepreneur, and co-founded Sir Kensington’s, a CPG company focused on gourmet condiments. Sir Kensington’s grew to become a leading national brand in the all-natural space and was acquired by Unilever in 2017.

Brandon received a BS in business administration from the University of Southern California where he was a member of the water polo team and an NCAA champion. He has an MBA with honors from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and received recognition as a Venture Fellow.

Ted Wilson – Managing Director, Silicon Valley Bank

Ted joined Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) as a Managing Director in May 2016 and is focused on relationship banking for enterprise software companies, with a particular expertise working with companies at the frontier of business intelligence and in the human resources area.

Ted has more than 15 years’ of experience working with technology businesses as a lender, venture capital investor, business operator, investment banker, and consultant. Prior to SVB, Ted was a Principal with Pinnacle Ventureswhere he focused on investments in Internet, Digital Media, and Software. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Ted was a venture associate at Crosslink Capital, a stage-independent venture capital and public equity firm with over $2 billion in assets. Before Crosslink, Ted worked in business development for a Battery Ventures start-up and as a summer associate for Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Earlier in his career, Ted worked as an investment banker for Seven Hills Partners, a consultant for Deloitte, and a financial analyst for BEA Systems.

Ted received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
