Newark, Calif., May 4, 2015—Kathy Ryan, a founder and CEO of RoseRyan, an accounting and finance consulting firm, has been honored by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the most influential women in Bay Area business.
“I’m delighted to be selected to the list,” says Ryan, who started her specialized consulting firm with another woman in 1993. “Building RoseRyan into the thriving firm that we are today has been my passion, so it’s an honor to be recognized. It’s a thrill to be profiled alongside so many outstanding business leaders as well.”
The publication formally announced its 2015 list on Friday in a special supplement and will host a celebration of the women in June. Nominators commented on honorees’ leadership, community involvement and career success.

Employees are provided flexible choices via full-time and part-time positions as well as satisfying work engagements. Also in 2014, Ryan was the subject of an extensive Q&A with the San Jose Mercury News, and she published an article in Accounting Today about the importance of soft skills in accounting. In 2012, she was named a woman of influence in Silicon Valley by the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal, one of 100 women selected for this annual list.
