Kathy Ryan named a Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal
Newark, Calif., April 9, 2012 — Kathy Ryan, co-founder, CEO and CFO of RoseRyan, an accounting and finance consulting firm based in Newark, has been honored as one of the most influential women in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. The publication formally announced the list of 100 notable women Friday, profiling them in a special issue.
“It’s an honor to have been selected,” says Ryan, who founded the values-driven consulting firm with another woman in 1993. “It’s very gratifying to be in such good company, and it reminds me of how proud I am of what RoseRyan has contributed to this region’s vibrant business ecosystem over nearly 20 years.”
This year’s list by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal identifies the most influential women in Silicon Valley, selected from the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Nominators commented on honorees’ workplace and community success, and the list includes the CEO of one of the world’s largest tech companies as well as venture capitalists from Sand Hill Road. An awards ceremony in San Jose, Calif., later this month will pay tribute to the selected women and their accomplishments.
